Exploring Mastery in Primary Maths
Yesterday saw the launch of our new Primary CPD programme 'Exploring Mastering in Primary Maths'. The session was led by Ashley Carter, Deputy Headteacher at The Mosely Academy and Kelly Ellis, Deputy Headteacher across The Forest Federation. This three part series will look at Mastery resources, and how to use them in different settings. Delegates will work collaboratively to produce a bank of mastery resources to be used across the maths curriculum. The final session will be a shared moderation session looking at children’s books to accurately assess both mastery and mastery at greater depth, review curriculum coverage in teaching and how learning has deepened throughout the year.
Unfortunately it is too late to register to attend this years' programme but we hope to run it again next year.
